What the hell is “mp; saf”? It’s a query that’s burning up Twitter, leaping to the highest of the app’s nationwide trending matters on Tuesday morning.
The obscure “phrase” was first talked about by @sellingittrue, asking merely “what is mp; saf?”

Scanning President Trump’s Twitter account, it doesn’t appear like a typo from the commander-in-chief, ruling out this yr’s model of “covfefe.”
“MP,” for these semi-familiar with British politics, means “Member of Parliament.” Possibly that’s in play? However, the “saf” half appears to throw it again into disarray. A fast Google search provides you options for the “Society of American Foresters,” the “Second Amendment Foundation,” and the “Society of American Florists.” Not precisely what you’d look forward to finding trending.
“Trends are determined by an algorithm and, by default, are tailored for you based on who you follow, your interests, and your location,” explains Twitter. “This algorithm identifies topics that are popular now, rather than topics that have been popular for a while or on a daily basis, to help you discover the hottest emerging topics of discussion on Twitter.”
Many Twitter users have been confused by the trend.
So … anybody know what mp; saf is and why it is trending? pic.twitter.com/YbUX4f1hME
